HIGH LEVEL
LASER TREATMENT
HELPS THE BODY HEAL ITSELF
01
NON-INVASIVE
High Level Laser Therapy is a non-invasive pain management technique that uses low-level laser therapy to reduce pain and inflammation.
03
STIMULATES TISSUE HEALING
Lasers increase circulation in the treatment area, sending oxygen and blood to the painful region. This increased circulation and blood flow stimulates tissue healing, cell repair, and healthy tissue growth.
02
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
Laser Therapy offers the power of pain relief with an anti-inflammatory action.
04
COMPLETING A NATURAL PROCESS
Lasers are, essentially, helping the cell to complete a natural process that has, for some reason, stalled or slowed.
PLATELET RICH PLASMA THERAPY
Promote healing and Regeneration
What is Platelet Rich Plasma?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is an innovative treatment using a patient's blood to heal and regenerate tissues. It involves drawing a small blood sample, concentrating the platelets, and injecting this solution into the injured area. Platelets release growth factors that enhance the body's natural healing. PRP therapy effectively treats chronic pain, sports injuries, and arthritis, offering a natural and efficient pain management solution.
Benefits
PRP therapy offers significant benefits for chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues. It accelerates healing, shortens recovery time, and enhances results. Using the patient’s own blood reduces the risk of adverse reactions or infections. PRP is especially effective for tendonitis, osteoarthritis, and ligament injuries, providing long-lasting relief without surgery or long-term medication. It also reduces pain and improves mobility, enhancing the quality of life.
The PRP Therapy Procedure
Conditions Treated with PRP Therapy
The PRP therapy procedure is simple and minimally invasive. It starts with drawing a small blood sample from the patient. This sample is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from other blood components. The concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the targeted area using ultrasound guidance for precision. The entire process takes about an hour, and patients can usually resume normal activities shortly after. Most patients notice improvement within a few weeks, with continued progress over several months.
PRP therapy is versatile and can be used to treat a wide range of conditions. It is commonly used for sports injuries such as ligament sprains, muscle strains, and tendon injuries. PRP is also effective in managing chronic pain conditions like osteoarthritis, particularly in the knees, shoulders, and hips. Additionally, it can aid in the healing of fractures and enhance recovery after surgical procedures. For patients suffering from degenerative joint diseases or chronic pain syndromes, PRP therapy offers a promising alternative to traditional treatments, providing relief and promoting long-term healing.
PERIPHERAL
NERVE BLOCK
Temporarily Turn Off Pain Signals
What is Peripheral Nerve Block?
Allowing Damaged Nerves to Heal
A nerve block is an anesthetic and/or anti-inflammatory injection targeted toward a certain nerve or group of nerves to treat pain.
The purpose of the injection is to "turn off" a pain signal coming from a specific location in the body or to decrease inflammation in that area.
Your doctor may use imaging guidance, such as ultrasound, to help place the needle in the most appropriate location. This will allow you to receive the maximum benefit from the injection.
People who suffer from either acute or chronic pain might have a nerve block injection to achieve temporary pain relief. Often, such pain originates from the spine, but other areas commonly affected include the neck, buttocks, legs, and arms.
Delivering a nerve block injection allows a damaged nerve time to heal itself from a state of constant irritation. Additionally, nerve blocks can provide diagnostic information to the doctor. By performing a nerve block and then monitoring how you respond, your doctor may determine the cause or source of the pain and plan further treatment.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE PROCEDURE?
Usually, a nerve block requires no special preparation. Tell your doctor if there's a possibility you are pregnant. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and leave jewelry at home.
You may need to change into a gown for the procedure and you will be positioned on your stomach, back or side depending on the type of nerve block being performed.
